Maybe it had to do with the copious amount of rides we rode. Most rides were 3 tickets each, so I bought 20 thinking "3 tickets each x 3 people = 9 tickets per ride" so we could ride 2 rides. Well, the carnies aren't super strict, so they only took like 1 or 2 tickets per ride, plus, they insisted that the parents ride free. So those 20 tickets? We ended up riding like 12 rides.
Just like last year, he LOVED the cow barn. It made me so happy that he wore his wrangler shirt, and the bolo tie was totally his idea. He didn't even know that the fair was western, or that the bolo tie was western, or that they were somehow related at all. Love this kid.
New this year was the obsession with fire trucks. The firemen were really sweet, and gave him a hat, and offered to let him sit in the truck and spray the water, but he just went quiet, looked down at the ground, and quietly said "no sank you". He was so excited and shy! He LOVES the hat, evidenced by the fact that he hasn't taken it off since we got home!

1 Say what, say what?:
Cute! Or, should I say, cyooooooootttee!
And the bolo tie? I'm in pain over here. Such an adorable little dude!
